About Us

Welcome to our Samoyed family! With more than 25 years of experience, we are dedicated to raising healthy, well-socialized Samoyed puppies that turn into cherished companions. Our journey started with our son’s first female Samoyed, and now, alongside our youngest son Chris and his wife Jaimee, we focus on providing expert training and care for each puppy. We are committed to supporting our puppies and their new owners by offering health and training advice, and we ensure that every dog is microchipped before leaving our home.

The Process
So, you are interested in getting a Samoyed puppy? Here's what you can do:

Get on a list
We keep inquiries on a prospective buyers list. This means you are interested in getting a puppy from us and want to be contacted when puppies are available. We keep names on a first come basis and will notify you when we have puppies being born. We will send pictures of puppies you are interested in.

Information
To help you get the right puppy and for us to help that process, we need information.Tell us about yourself, where you live, what you do, who lives with you and what your past dog experience has been. And, ask US all the questions you want about us, our dogs and our puppies.

Commit with a deposit
We do not accept deposits on puppies until they are about 6 weeks old and have been thoroughly examined by our vet. We will keep you on our list until we hear that you don't want a puppy after all. We recognize that things can change a lot between when you express an interest and a puppy is ready to go home.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
What forms of payment do you accept? We accept payment by personal check (for deposit only), Venmo, Zelle, and (of course) cash. The puppy has to be fully paid for before it leaves our home.

-
Can we come visit the puppies before they are old enough to leave? Absolutely! We recommend you plan your visit when the puppies are about six weeks old, if you want to have an idea of their personalities. Prior to that, we are happy to send pictures and videos on a regular basis.

-
Do you require spaying and neutering? No, we do not. However, we recommend it as hormones can contribute to behavior. We DO recommend that you spay or neuter at the correct age, which is not as a puppy. Puppies need to grow to near mature size before spaying and neutering to prevent long-term, chronic diseases. We suggest waiting for a female to have one or two "heats" and a male to reach at least one year of age and growth before neutering. Of course, please get advice from your veterinarian, as individual health needs may be a factor.

-
Do you treat your puppies for ticks and fleas? No, we do not. We do our best to keep our dogs and puppies flea and tick-free. However, some treatments are too harsh for puppies. We suggest you consult your veterinarian regarding this. Treatment needs can vary with your living location.

-
What food do you feed your puppies? We feed our puppies Diamond Puppy, which is a quality kibble with 31% protein. We will send some home with your new puppy to get you started. If you choose to switch to a different kibble, you can use what we give to make the transition gradually. When shopping for quality puppy food, be sure to read the labels for protein and fat content, and ingredients. We recommend at least 26% protein, 12%fat. If the first ingredients are grains, like corn, this is not a quality kibble. As your puppy grows, get input from your veterinarian as to how much kibble, and how much protein your puppy needs. Individual growth will mean different nutritional requirements.

-
How often do you feed your puppies? We free feed our puppies since there is a group and we want to make sure that everyone gets their fair share. However, once you get your puppy home, we suggest three feedings a day on a schedule and not later than 8 pm in the evening (unless you like middle of the night potty trips.
